CONCREZIONI
Concrezioni (= concretions) marks a pivotal moment in my artistic journey —a heterogeneous body of work that signals a shift from the ethereal and ecstatic tone of earlier pieces toward a denser, more grounded materiality. Here the imagery begins to gravitate around the archetypal presence of earth, while also evoking the tangible, sedimentary qualities of soil—a duality that will recur in many future projects.
This is a kind of “middle ground”—a space suspended between elements. The works evoke the intangible atmosphere of microscopic landscapes, yet keep their distance from the organic, fluid, and aerial. We find ourselves in a mineral world: at times dry and abstract, where even the occasional green tones do not evoke lush vegetation but rather residues, sediments, and hidden strata. A place where time has slowly etched the matter’s forms—now soft, now tense—through a silent process of accumulation and transformation.

Concrezioni si manifesta come un ciclo di opere molto eterogeneo, che segna uno specifico passaggio di ricerca artistica. La dimensione nebulosa ed estatica delle produzioni precedenti si apre a dei punti gravitazionali maggiormente materici e quindi richiamando l’elemento archetipico della terra che sarà presente in molti progetti successivi. In questa “terra di mezzo” i luoghi possiedono tutta la dimensione eterica che può esservi in un paesaggio microscopico, mantenendo però formalmente una certa distanza da elementi organici, fluidi ed aerei. Siamo in un mondo minerale, in alcuni casi secco e astratto, dove anche le note verdi più che richiamare il mondo vegetale sembrano suggerire ristagni e substrati, dove il tempo ha avuto modo di sedimentare le articolazioni a volte morbide altre nervose della materia.
