CONCREZIONI
Concrezioni (concretions) is to be perceived as a very heterogeneous cycle of works, which marks a specific passage of David’s artistic research. The nebulous and ecstatic dimension of the previous productions opens up to more material gravitational points and therefore recalling the archetypal earth element that will be present in many subsequent projects. In this “limbo” the places have all the etheric dimensions that can exist in a microscopic landscape, while formally maintaining a certain distance from organic, fluid and aerial elements. We are in a mineral world, in some cases dry and abstract, where even the green notes rather than recall the vegetable world, seem to suggest stagnations and substrates. There the time has had the opportunity to settle the matter that sometimes is soft and other times tough.

Concrezioni si manifesta come un ciclo di opere molto eterogeneo, che segna uno specifico passaggio di ricerca artistica. La dimensione nebulosa ed estatica delle produzioni precedenti si apre a dei punti gravitazionali maggiormente materici e quindi richiamando l’elemento archetipico della terra che sarà presente in molti progetti successivi. In questa “terra di mezzo” i luoghi possiedono tutta la dimensione eterica che può esservi in un paesaggio microscopico, mantenendo però formalmente una certa distanza da elementi ’organici, fluidi ed aerei. Siamo in un mondo minerale, in alcuni casi secco e astratto, dove anche le note verdi più che richiamare il mondo vegetale sembrano suggerire ristagni e substrati, dove il tempo ha avuto modo di sedimentare le articolazioni a volte morbide altre nervose della materia.
